The HAWK represents diversity, a high level of practical relevance as well as interdisciplinary approaches and projects. It stands for future-orientated practical studies connected with economy and society.
The HAWK in figures: 25 Bachelor and 16 Master degree courses, 6.300 students, 100 international co-operations, 700 professors and employees in six faculties in Hildesheim, Holzminden and Göttingen:

  • Social Work and Health The Health Campus in Göttingen is an innovative project realized in cooperation with University Medical Center Göttingen (UMG). It is located in HAWK Faculty of Natural Sciences and Technology.

What does the HAWK stand for? Research assignments and cooperation projects with (trans-)regional companies enable our students to gain their first practical experiences during their years of study. Projects, studies, patents and business formations result from close networks and longtime cooperations.
Very special is our interdisciplinary concept: Students and researchers develop new concepts or products involving all faculties and competencies.
